Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Meets CITIC Telecom Executives
Invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Bureau of Investment of Thailand (BOI), Executives of CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (CITIC Telecom) met Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E. Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak on 28 April 2017 in Hong Kong.
Dr. Tiger Lin, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of CITIC Telecom, said the Company will increase investment and bring world-class cloud and ICT services to Thailand， after presented the Company’s current presence and future plans in Thailand during the meeting. He expressed that CITIC Telecom strives to be a bridge facilitating Thai enterprises marching to the world, and for foreign MNCs entering into Thailand.
Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Somkid said ICT services play a key role in Thailand’s development. Thai government welcomes investment from CITIC Telecom, and hopes CITIC Telecom would seize the opportunities and consider positioning Thailand as regional headquarters to further expand in the region.
Thailand’s Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Minister of Industry, Secretary General, office of the BOI, and Vice Minister of DPM Office attended the meeting.
CITIC Telecom attendants include executives from subsidiaries CPC, Acclivis and Pacific Internet Thailand, which provide cloud and ICT services in Thailand.
