CITIC Telecom International participated in the MWC Shanghai – one of the most important telecommunication exhibitions in the eastern hemisphere on 28 – 30 June 2017. We showcased our telecommunications and ICT capabilities, global coverage and latest products of the Group and its subsidiaries.

It was the first time that the Group joined as an exhibitor, demonstrating our strength, brand image and latest development of our different business segments. During the 3-day show, almost 2000 guests visited our booth, including the headquarters, international companies and provincial companies of the top 3 carriers in China, dozens of overseas carriers, research institutions, investment institutions, start-ups and local & overseas media such as CCTV, People’s Daily Online, Bloomberg etc. Tiger Lin, CEO of CITIC Telecom, was interviewed during the event.

To showcase the diversified business of the Group, we invite Christopher Tan, a Malaysian Nanoblock artist to build a smart city with the world smallest brick- Nanoblock, which incorporates the Group’s businesses in different scenes in our daily lives. 
Similarly, in the infoComm industry, we also use the simplest elements to construct infinite combinations. You can see that our diversified products are available in this ‘physical city’, with different telecommunications and ICT services constructing a marvelous ‘digital city’, enabling connections among people, among things and among each other, whereas connecting the future with infinite possibility. 

 

Google is offering an education solution to bring a brand new learning experience for students with a little card box. As the partner of Google and the solution provider, our subsidiary in Singapore, Acclivis presented the Google For Education VR experience in MWC for the first time.
