CITIC Telecom International fully supported and participated in the 2018 Yearly General Assembly of International Association for the Portuguese Speaking Communications

the 26th Forum of the Portuguese Speaking Communications 2018 took place in Macau from 23rd to 24th of April. Officiating guests for the launching ceremony included Mr. Ding Tian, Deputy Secretary General of Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operate Between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries in Macau, Ms. Derby Lau, Director of CTT, Mr. Xin Yue Jiang, Chairman of CITIC Telecom International Holdings and Mr. Vandy Poon, CEO of CTM who represents CTM as a member of the Association.  

As a member of AICEP, CTM hosted a welcome dinner for attending guests. Dra. Sofia Pegado Silverio, Consul-General of Angola in Macau, Ms. Xu YingZhen, Deputy Secretary General of Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operate Between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Macau), Mr. Wang Yi, Secretary General of Macau Chinese Enterprises Association, Ms. Derby Lau, Director of CTT and various local Portuguese media management joined the dinner.

Chairman Xin said in the dinner that, CITIC Telecom International, as the major shareholder of CTM, fully supports CTM to participate in and collaborate with Portuguese communications operators, media and relevant regulators worldwide, actively responding the national “One Belt One Road” initiative and the strategic positioning of “one center, one platform” in Macau. With the solid support of the CITIC Group, CTM will further expand the communication services from its base in Macau to worldwide, and actively promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries.
