With the continuous growth of CITIC Telecom International, its geographical coverage extends from Hong Kong and Macau to the world, and the business types range from telecommunications services to Internet-based integrated telecommunications services. Thus, the prevention and control of legal risks is becoming more and more important. Therefore, CITIC Telecom International held a themed training on legal risk prevention and control for overseas colleagues on March 15, 2019.

The training was held by the Group Legal Department and hosted by Xin Yuejiang, Chairman of CITIC Telecom. He suggested that we shall raise the awareness of risk prevention and control and learn legal knowledge continuously. Tiger Lin, CEO of CITIC Telecom, members of the management team, representatives of overseas colleagues and heads of various departments participated in the training.

This training strengthened the understanding of overseas colleagues on the law of the headquarters and regions where overseas branches operate. It clearly required all colleagues to learn the law, know the law, comply with the law, and strictly comply with the group’s management systems to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the business process, so as to create long-term, sustainable and healthy business and revenue contribution to the Group.
