Group’s subsidiary CTM helps SMEs seize the opportunity of e-commerce. “Macau Good Hands” is officially launched

To help SMEs develop and seize the opportunity of e-commerce, CTM has developed an one-stop e-commerce platform – “Macau Good Hands”, combining the features of big data, search engine and electronic payment. CTM is devoted to facilitate local enterprises to expand business during the internet era, with an objective of actively promoting the integration of e-commerce with the economy. During several months of trial run, the “Macau Good Hands” had received lots of positive feedbacks from SMEs and residents, following detailed fine-tuning, today (6th March) CTM is pleased to announce the official launch of “Macau Good Hands” – an e-commerce platform that gathers the collective wisdom of stakeholders on the consumer pattern which assist to customize a locally needed intelligent ecosystem, leveraging technology to maximize the effectiveness and competiveness of different industries, further promoting the diversified economic development of Macau.

The launching ceremony of “Macao Good Hands” was held today at the Macau Tower, with honorable guests including Mr. Tai Kin Ip, Director of Macau Economic Service; Mr. Leong San Io, Deputy Officer of Information Technology Development and Resources Management of Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau, Mr. Shuen Ka Hung, Director General of Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre; Mr. Sam Lei, Senior Manager of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute; Mr. Yip Wing Fat, Director of Macau Association of Retailers & Tourism Services; Mr. Stanley Ao, Director of The Macau Small and Medium Enterprises Association; Mr. Ng Wah Wai, Director of The Industry and Commercial Association of Macau, Mr. Vandy, Poon, CEO of CTM and Commercial Vice President Ms. Ebel Cham, presided at the ceremony.

Under the technology of cloud computing and big data analysis, “Macau GoodHands” is introduced to bring in the collective wisdom of stakeholders, maximize ones’ own strength in order to customize a locally needed intelligent ecosystem that will contribute to the effectiveness and competiveness of different industries in Macau.”

“Macau Good Hands” has been soft opened for half a year which has received positive feedback from the public. In the initial phase, there are about 50 high quality merchants stationed in “Macau GoodHands”, offering more than a thousand of commodities ranging from digital products, daily necessities, health products, food & beverage, etc.

To celebrate the official launch of “Macau Good Hands”, from now on untill 31st May, new subscribers of CTM Home Internet Service will be rewarded a MOP100 coupon to experience the fun of shopping at “Macau GoodHands”, a total value of MOP1.5 million coupons will be given away, while stock lasts. During the promotional period, 50% off promotional discount will be offered by specific merchants.
