To enhance communications with the media, CITIC Telecom International held a media luncheon on January 17, 2018. The management of the Group, including Chairman Xin Yue Jiang, CEO Dr. Tiger Lin and CFO Dr. David Chan, meet with nine journalists to share with them about the Group’s business development and other latest updates.

During the luncheon, Chairman Xin mentioned that the Group has been integrating and nurturing our business after some M&As in the last year. This was a stage to build up strength for the Group to rise to new heights. We believe that we will enter into leapfrog development stage since 2018. As for dividend, the Group has been increasing the dividend payment in the past 10 years. The final dividend for 2017 will take full account of the 10^th listing anniversary factor, and we will be responsible to shareholders.

Reporters were very interested in the Group’s development in 5G and Greater Bay Area. They were also concerned about our disaster recovery work after the typhoon “Hato” strike Macau last August. The luncheon ended in a pleasant atmosphere and CITIC Telecom will continue to actively strengthen communications with its stakeholders in the future.
