Nature has taken another turn, everything is starting anew. As 2025 approaches, on behalf of CITIC Telecom International, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for the New Year to our leaders at all levels, customers, partners, media and investors who care about and support us. I would also like to extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to all CITIC Telecom International employees and colleagues who will adhere to their posts during the holiday.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the 45th anniversary of the founding of CITIC Group, and the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to the motherland. With the five key focuses of “increasing revenue, innovation, transformation, cost reduction and security”, CITIC Telecom International has comprehensively promoted the “transformation and development, reform and innovation” of the Company, actively expanded in the international business arena, and demonstrated firm development determination and persistent development capacity.

This year, we have strengthened our original mission and fulfilled our responsibilities. Bearing in mind the country’s most fundamental interests, we have successfully completed the major task of ensuring the security of network communications for the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to the motherland. CTM won the “Distinguished Contribution Award” established for the first time by the World Internet Conference, held the “CTM Youth Development Program” for the 11th consecutive year, and the Company released a sustainability report for the 11th year running, focusing on improving ESG standards and increasing international influence.

This year, we continued to take the lead in science and technology and strengthened innovation and empowerment. We deepened “Artificial intelligence +” and “Data Elements x”, participated in the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, launched 5.5G services in Macau, introduced Baidu’s PaddlePaddle AI platform, and joined the Open Gateway initiative proposed by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), striving to create a second growth curve.

This year, we also closely followed the development strategy and expanded the global market. Firmly implementing the strategy of “With the backing of the Mainland, Setting a foothold in Hong Kong and Macau, and Connecting to the World”, we set up network nodes in Dubai, the UAE and other regions along the “Belt and Road”, built a solid “Cloud, Network, Intelligence and Security” integrated capability platform, obtained authorizations from internationally renowned cloud service providers as their highest-level partner, and expanded cooperation with leading international artificial intelligence hardware manufacturers from Singapore to Indonesia, further expanding our global business footprint.

We are taking the mission and moving forward. We insist on pursuing progress while maintaining stability and promoting stability through progress, maintaining integrity and innovation, establishing the new before abolishing the old, continuously enhancing core functions, improving core competitiveness, promoting transformation and development, strengthening business synergy, promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and enhancing the Company’s strength with reform effectiveness.

We are seizing opportunities to shape the future. By precisely grasping the new round of technological reforms trending and industrial transformation, and focusing on cutting-edge areas such as 5G, 5.5G, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the IoT, we have been able to play a proactive role in future development and facilitate the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

We encourage pragmatic efforts and bold pursuits. We have accelerated the construction of new network infrastructure, consolidated the leading position of Macau’s telecommunications market, promoted the integrated development of “AI+ Cloud Network ​​Security”, expanded our business footprint in Southeast Asia, and enhanced service quality and brand image.

In a boat race, those who row the hardest win. With this in mind, we will make every effort to ensure future successes. CITIC Telecom adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and actively serves the country’s key initiatives such as high-level opening up, the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road”. By coordinating the relationship between cultivating new growth drivers and upgrading old growth drivers, we will focus on two main lines of international development and technological development, and strive to build a world-class integrated digital and intelligent telecommunications enterprise by “transforming stars” with digital intelligence industrialization, “creating stars” with industrial digital intelligence, and “exploring stars” with new quality productive forces.

The first rays of sunshine in 2025 will soon illuminate the earth and our new journey forward. In the coming new year, we will regroup ourselves, strengthen our confidence, move forward with courage, and embark on a new journey.
