CTM Youth Development Programme Graduation Ceremony

  

Xin Yue Jiang, Chairman of CITIC Telecom, attended the graduation ceremony of the ‘CTM Youth Development Programme 2017’ organized by CTM and The Industry and Commerce Association of Macau, and co-organized by Bosco Youth Service Network. Other attending guests included Xu Ting, Director of the Culture and Education Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR; Lau Wai Meng, Director of Macao Post; Ng Wah Wai, Chairman of the Board of The Industry and Commerce Association of Macau; Yip Wing Keung, Executive Director of Bosco Youth Service Network; Lok Po, Director of Macao Daily News; Manuel Pires, Chairman of Executive Committee at TDM and Shuen Ka Hung, Director-General of CPTTM.

In the speech made by Chairman Xin, he said that teenagers should apply what they have learnt in the society. Teenagers are the future of Macau and China. This Youth Development Programme provided a valuable practice platform for a group of elite students, while CTM also fulfilled its corporate responsibility. He also gave each student a book written by himself — ‘Management and Innovation of an Enterprise’, hoping to inspire them on their career planning, bringing the event to its climax.

After the ceremony, Chairman Xin discussed with Xu Ting, Director of the Culture and Education Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR, about the recent development of CTM. Xu Ting recognized the progress of CTM after it was acquired by CITIC Telecom. Internet speed is faster, and there are closer communication with Culture and Education Department and participation in activities organized by the Department. She encouraged CTM to strengthen their public relations work too.

There was a celebration dinner on the same night and all the guests are so excited to exchange ideas. Lau Wai Meng, Director of Macao Post; Nel Lao, Vice Chairman of the Board of The Industry and Commerce Association of Macau; Yip Wing Keung, Executive Director of Bosco Youth Service Network;Manuel Pires, chairman of executive committee at TDM and Shuen Ka Hung, Director-General of CPTTM attended the dinner. Chairman Xin explained the achievements of CTM has made in past 4 years, the future development direction and initiatives to make improvement. He also wished to have the assistance and suggestion from different parties in Macau.
